Wulamatu Samura is a passionate and dedicated Sierra Leonean woman born and raised in the central part of Freetown. As the first daughter in a family of two boys and two girls, she grew up with a strong sense of responsibility, confidence, and compassion. From an early age, she developed a deep commitment to leadership and community service, driven by the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Wulamatu began her educational journey at Evangelical Primary School, where she served as Deputy Head Girl. She later attended Dr. S. M. Brodrick Junior Secondary School and served as a School Prefect. Her leadership journey continued at United Muslim Senior Secondary School, where she was appointed Deputy Head Girl and later Head Girl. These roles helped shape her confidence, discipline, and ability to lead with empathy and responsibility.

With over six years of experience in social work and advocacy, Wulamatu has worked with several reputable organizations, including Don Bosco Fambul, Patriotic Advocacy Network, Digital Islam, Shalom Rescue Foundation, Succeed Intervention, the Mental Health Coalition, and Girls Alliance Incorporation. Through her work, she has contributed to community development, youth empowerment, and advocacy for women and girls.

Her dedication and impact have earned her recognition, including awards such as Best Active Staff of the Year and a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Leadership. These achievements reflect her commitment, hard work, and passion for service.

Wulamatu is a strong advocate for women and girls and is deeply motivated by the desire to give back to humanity. She is known as a bold, confident, and approachable leader who values teamwork, peace, and respect. Her ability to connect with people and work collaboratively allows her to create meaningful change within her community.

Wulamatu’s mission is to continue serving her community by empowering women and girls and promoting positive social change. She envisions a society where everyone, especially young women and girls, has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Her commitment to leadership, social justice, and community development makes her a role model and source of inspiration to many.
