The Girls Rise Up (GRU) Conference 2026 is a three-day national empowerment conference designed to inspire, equip, and connect 300 young women and girls including boys across Sierra Leone with the knowledge, skills, networks, and opportunities necessary to become leaders and agents of change within their communities.

The 4th Edition Girls Rise Up (GRU) Conference 2026 is a three-day national empowerment conference designed to inspire, equip, and connect 300 young women and girls including boys across Sierra Leone with the knowledge, skills, networks, and opportunities necessary to become leaders and agents of change within their communities. The conference will bring together government officials, development partners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, innovators, health professionals, educators, civil society organizations, and youth leaders to engage in meaningful discussions and practical learning experiences centered on leadership, mentorship, technology, entrepreneurship, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), and creative advocacy.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to all Sierra Leonean.

The Forum is open to girls and young women including male aged 9–27 at the time of the Forum.
