ABOUT MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT EDUCATION
The Menstrual Hygiene Day Event was organized to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day by equipping adolescent girls and young women with knowledge about their bodies and the importance of proper menstrual hygiene through interactive awareness sessions. The event also included the distribution of hygiene kits containing disposable sanitary pads, reusable pads, soap, Dettol, and customized bags.
The event increased awareness of menstrual hygiene, improved access to essential menstrual products, and encouraged girls to remain in school throughout their menstrual cycle. By providing both education and practical support, it helped reduce menstrual stigma, promote dignity, and minimize school absenteeism.
